This reagent, prepared from human serum, is intended for use as an unassayed precision control to monitor the tests for determination of glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD), the islet cell antigen (IA-2) and zinc transporter 8 (ZnT8) which are important serological markers of type 1 diabetes mellitus (type 1 DM).
IMMUNO-TROL reagents should be analysed in the same manner as patient samples, according to the instructions supplied by manufacturers of the test kits used.
