Matthew has nearly twenty years’ experience in quality and refined his skills working across several industries, primarily in aerospace, and more recently moving into medical devices. At Cambridge Life Sciences he will be ensuring that we meet all relevant quality standards and comply with rapidly evolving regulations from our various markets.
He has a passion and focus for creating excellence in the whole value chain, from the supplier to the end user, going beyond regulatory compliance. As a Professional Member, BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT, he is keen on leveraging information technologies to improve process effectiveness and efficiency.
Matthew is a Chartered Quality Professional – Member (CQP MCQI) and holds numerous qualifications in the filed of quality , and he is studying for the ASQ Certified Medical Device Auditor exam.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing field hockey and is to be found on a pitch somewhere in the East of England on a Saturday throughout the winter season.
Emma joined us as Regulatory Assistant in June. Emma has a background in science research, completing a chemistry PHD at York University, followed by 10 years in scientific publishing. She is now leveraging her technical and sector knowledge and skills into in vitro device regulation.
In her spare time, she plays for Ely Women’s Football Club and also performs in bands as a singer and guitarist.
